Registrations for the Faith Formation Program: All children six years old and up to seventeen years old are asked to form their faith in our Faith Formation Program every Sunday from 10:15am to 11:45am followed by the 12Noon Mass.  Our program begins in September and ends in June.  All children must register for the program every year.  Registrations are on-going every Sunday, from 10:30am to 1:30pm.  We must have the child’s Birth and Baptismal Certificate and a $60.00 book fee.

         Todos los domingos de 10:30am a las 1:30pm en la oficina de la Rectoría tendremos matriculas para el Programa de Formación de Fe (o de la Doctrina).   Todos los niños deben inscribirse cada año.  Es necesario traer una copia de las actas de nacimiento y de bautizo y una cuota de $60 por niño para el costo de los libros.  Este programa es para todos los niños de seis a diecisiete años de edad aunque ya hubiesen hecho sus sacramentos, ya que cada curso o año escolar tiene un contenido diferente.  Les esperamos!

Reasons You Don’t Want to Look at Pornography

           Trust me, you don’t want to look at pornography.
          
7. You don’t want to change to suit your pornography habit.
           Pornography draws users into stranger and stranger places, according to the studies Pat Fagan cites.  It also makes them less committed to their spouses, more likely to have lenient views of rape, and, as several news stories pointed out recently, makes them more open to redefining marriage.  It makes sense. As my students learn: We imitate what we see. And we are what we choose.

8. Pornography is the opposite of beauty.
Beauty is ennobling. It draws you toward goodness and truth. It inspires you to be better than you were, more loving, more caring. Pornography apes the appeal of beauty, but  — since its appeal is chemical, not spiritual — it twists it and warps it.
A friend of mine says it’s only a matter of time before the Left, which currently is accepting of pornography, turns against it. Oprah has.
So, you don’t want to look at porn. You want to look at beauty.

Confessions:
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated everyday- Monday to Friday- at 6:45pm... before the 7:00pm Mass… and on Saturdays from 4:00pm to 4:45pm. If you have been away from the sacrament you are encouraged to make an appointment with one of the priests to give you ample time to celebrate God’s Mercy and Forgiveness.
