Evangelii Gaudium (Joy of the Gospel): Pope Francis' First Apostolic Exhortation
The Joy of the Gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus. Those who accept his offer of salvation are set free from sin, sorrow, inner emptiness and loneliness. With Christ joy is constantly born anew. In this Exhortation I wish to encourage the Christian faithful to embark upon a new chapter of evangelization marked by this joy, while pointing out new paths for the Church’s journey in years to come

La alegría del Evangelio llena los corazones y las vidas de todos los que se encuentran con Jesús. Los que aceptan su oferta de salvación son liberados del pecado, el dolor, el vacío interior y la soledad. Con la alegría de Cristo constantemente, es nacido de nuevo. En esta Exhortación deseo alentar a los fieles cristianos a embarcarse en un nuevo capítulo de la evangelización marcada por esta alegría, al tiempo que señala nuevos caminos para el camino de la Iglesia en los próximos años
