Reflection on Sunday Readings

"We announce to you the eternal life which dwelt with the Father and was made visible to us. What we have seen and heard we announce to you, so that you may have fellowship with us and our common fellowship be with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ" (1 John 1:2-3) (Vatican II).
"For the word of God is living and active" (Heb. 4:12) and "it has power to build you up and give you your heritage among all those who are sanctified" (Acts 20:32; see 1 Thess. 2:13) (Vatican II).
The Word of God is a living word which is meant to transform and a bring about a new life in us: a life of holiness with the Three Divine Persons. And, so, let us listen carefully as God speaks and meditate on it.
